Membership & Dress Code

Membership at The Cypress Club allows you to enjoy our dining room with an extensive ever-changing menu, lounge, courtyard patio, private meeting rooms, poker room, and banquet room. Let our experienced staff help take all the stress out of planning your business and personal events, or just enjoy an evening relaxing in front of the grand fireplace with a glass of wine.

Dress Code applies to all Members and their guests at all times.

• NO hats, tank tops, tube tops, muscle shirts, ripped clothing, hoodies, cargo shorts, flip flops, sliders, clothing with offensive slogans or wording.

Primary Member (PM)

• Annual Dues $600/yr + GST

• Annual Usage requirement of $900/yr + GST (charged to account @ $75/mo. +GST)

• Annual $25/year improvement fee

• One time $100 initiation fee for new members for notional share in the Club

• Ability to charge to account with credit card on file

• Spouse and family members can utilize the club under your membership without you in attendance

• Can book reservations for guests and clients without being in attendance

• Voting rights at the AGM

• You or your spouse can sit as a member of the board

• Access to reciprocal clubs (see list)

• No deposit or cost to book rooms or the whole club for private functions

Lifetime Member (LM)

• No annual dues or usage charges

• Selected by the board

• Minimum 40 years of continuous club membership

• Involved in club governance at some point in their membership

• All the same rights and privileges of a Primary Member (PM)

Associate Member (AM)

• Annual Dues of $300/yr + GST

• No annual usage requirement

• No charging privileges - pay as you go

• No voting rights - can attend AGM

• No access to affiliated clubs

• No spouse, family, client or guest usage privileges without member present at the same time

• All functions booked outside of regular operating hours must have a credit card provided to secure booking

• Minimum spend required for functions booked outside regular operating hours

• Can upgrade to a Primary Membership at anytime and the Associate Member annual dues will be credited towards the upgrade

For-Profit Corporate Membership (FPCM)

• Annual Dues of $2500/yr +GST

• All Principals and staff can utilize the club

• Same membership conditions as an Associate Membership

Non-Profit Corporate Membership (NPCM)

• Annual Dues of $1500/yr +GST

• All Members and staff of the non-profit can utilize the club

• Same membership conditions as an Associate Membership

Other Benefits and Guidelines

• Exclusive access to one of Medicine Hat's finest cuisine and dining facilities.

• Custom catering of any meal with a minimum of 7 days to source the menu desired.

• Casual, business and formal dining experiences with family, friends and associates.

• Multiple private rooms to utilize for your meetings and functions.

• Ability to book an exclusive setting for weddings, anniversaries and other personal celebrations.

• Regular membership events and celebrations.

• Can sit on any standing and ad-hoc committee
